Chocolate Chip Cookies

4 sticks margarine
2 cups sugar
2 teaspoons salt
1 cup brown sugar
4 teaspoons vanilla
2 teaspoons baking soda
4 eggs
6 1/2 cups flour, sifted
1 cup chopped pecans
12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Cream together the margarine, sugar, and brown sugar. Beat the 4 eggs and mix into the mixture. Add 4 teaspoons vanilla extract.

Sift together the flour, salt and soda. Add to the above mixture. Mix in 12 oz. chocolate chips and 1 cup pecans.

Drop onto ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake at 350 F for 8-10 minutes per batch.
